Heroes' Day: The Legacy of Our Jamaican Heroines

Join us as we celebrate the Legacy of Our Jamaican Heroines presented by Aisha Harris-Parker. 

Aisha Harris – Parker has been the Language and Cross Culture Coordinator at Peace Corps Jamaica for the past 5 years. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Language, Communication and Society and a minor in Cultural Studies, a Master of Arts in Linguistics and a Post Graduate Diploma in Language Education from the University of the West Indies, Mona. She considers herself a Language and Culture advocate and can be found participating in various ventures to support this.

She enjoys dancing, writing, video creation and performing dub poetry and dialectal pieces. When she is not at work, she is spending time with her husband and 5 children.
